Huiwai Chan aka Wai Wai is a woman of Hong Kong origin who came to the UK to work in a chip shop in Northern Ireland and then decided to study art in Manchester. After several years of artivist practice she lost legal status, familiarised herself with alternative methods of living and disappeared into the woods on the Welsh borders.
